Along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Northern Michigan, sits a small stone house as old as trees.
Century-old maples create a canopy over the roof and overgrown grass surrounds its foundation.
But the stone house stands strong.
It’s strength comes from it’s solidness: the split stone, simple architectural lines and the promise of shelter.
Our founder Bob Pisor found endless inspiration in this structure that sat on his Leland, Michigan property.
In 1995, Bob started baking bread with a solid foundation and simple ingredients.
We source the same traditional ingredients used for centuries: Pure, Michigan water, organic wheat, and a pinch of sea salt.
At Stone House Bread, we strive to craft loaves that bring warmth to your table and to the world.
