Beyond Our Ovens – At Stone House Bread, we are on a mission to be a part of something bigger! That is why we donate bread weekly to homeless shelters. In January, we donated $36,485 worth of bread to homeless shelters and pantries in the communities that we serve.
As of January 2019, Michigan had an estimated 8,575 people that experience homelessness on any given day, as reported by Continuums of Care to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. By donating bread to homeless shelters, we are providing warmth and a healthy meal to people in need. Follow us on Facebook to see our mission in action!
