Stone house bread takes pride in using quality ingredients. We stress and practice buying local, as much as possible. Quality flour as a priority and is the foundation of the bread. We use farmers with decades of experience and offer the highest quality available to us.
The grain farms and millers we source from are certified organic food producers found in the US with a focus on Michigan. We use farmers and milling companies of the highest possible standards. Every organic product we mix with meets the criteria set by the National Organic Program (NOP), and Quality Assurance International (QAI). All of our organic flours are non-GMO Verified grains and are recognized by the Global Organic Alliance, Inc (GOA).
Our farmers and millers study quality and understand that for superior performance and flavor there is a period right after a grain or seed has sprouted, but before it’s a full-fledged plant when the potential for nutrition, taste, and performance rises.
